RANDOM THOUGHTS FOR SPRING
Spring is in the air. The birds are chirping, the squirrels are burroughing (at least I think they are burroughing), and the Bulldogs are hitting. While most sports fans are dissecting the chances of Robert Morris and Virginia Commonwealth in the NCAA Basketball Tournament, I'm worrying about how good this Georgia team is going to be this year. As Spring Practice started on Tuesday, there are a issues that should be a focal point for the three-week practice session. The offensive line should be fine and I'm not too worried about the injury bug just yet. However, what questions I do have can be partially solved by a sneak peek of scheduled practices going on in Athens right now. Here are a few random thoughts that will serve either meaningless or meaningful as we get one step closer to Stillwater.

I'm all for Joe Cox's success. He's been patient for four years and he seems to be a pretty good leader, even though he hasn't been the actual leader of a team, yet. Now that he has his chance, I'm looking to seeing what he can do. He never lost a game in high school and I've been told he's the hardest worker on the team. But let's be realistic. AJ Green was quoted as saying, "Having Joe back there is just like having [Stafford] back there." QUE? Either it means someone is trying to stroke his confidence or AJ thinks Matt Stafford won't get drafted. I'm confused because it definitely couldn't be based on similar talent. Someone pat AJ on the head...

Uh, Kang here! Caleb King will be one of the few healthy running backs participating in Spring Practice as Richard Samuel and Dontavius Jackson are nursing injuries. Does this mean the rise of King Caleb? Could be. If you look at some of his YouTube
